Open the tool →What it is
Live Flow shows real-time unusual options activity as it happens, updated every 30 seconds. This is the raw firehose of institutional positioning.
Pattern types
- GOLDEN_SWEEP — The most aggressive. Immediate fill across multiple exchanges simultaneously. Institutional buyer sweeping the entire book.
- SWEEP — Aggressive multi-leg order. Filled across multiple exchanges but slightly less explosive than a golden sweep.
- BLOCK — A large single-lot order negotiated off-market or as a single chunk. High size/conviction.
- SPLIT — Order broken up into smaller pieces. Less urgent.
Color coding
- Green = Bullish — calls bought at the Ask (opening a directional bet).
- Red = Bearish — puts bought at the Ask (opening a directional bet).
- Gray = Neutral/Closing — calls sold at the Bid, puts sold at the Bid, or midpoint fills. These are position exits, not directional bets.
Score thresholds
The algorithmic Score ranges from 0–100. Only flows that score 85+ appear in the feed.
- 85–100: The threshold for "unusual". High institutional conviction.
- 95+: Extreme urgency or massive size deviation.

Concepts used here
- Golden sweepAn aggressive multi-exchange sweep large enough to clear our highest conviction bar.
- UrgencySweeps and Golden Sweeps chased across exchanges signal someone who wants in now.
- Premium sizeThe total dollars spent on a trade — the headline conviction number.
- New moneyVolume far above open interest — fresh positioning, not closing an old trade.
